Volunteer

TheatreSquared currently seeks individuals to act as greeters and ushers for our current season, as well as individuals to provide general support during the company’s special events.

Why Volunteer?

From the moment patrons arrive at the theatre to the final curtain call, volunteers help us craft the perfect patron experience. TheatreSquared is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for our patrons to watch and discuss thought-provoking theatre, and volunteers are essential to that process as they are some of the first faces our patrons encounter. Volunteering at TheatreSquared is a fun way to support the arts, meet new people, and play an important role in the daily operations of our theatre!

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM PERKS AND BENEFITS

First and foremost, you'll get to see the show for free! We cannot guarantee that seats will be available for volunteers but we will always do our best to find a place for you to sit. We also will have a reward system to receive certain usher perks.

Reward System as follows:

  • 10 hours: 2 non-alcoholic beverages at the The Commons Bar & Cafe

  • 20 hours: $15 gift card to The Commons Bar & Cafe

  • 30 hours: 2 tickets to a TheatreSquared show

  • 50 hours: A personalized TheatreSquared nametag or T2 merch item (if nametag has been earned)

  • 75 hours: Invitation to a TheatreSquared donor event (excluding TheatreSquared’s Gala for Education and Access)

Once you reach a new level of hours, you may request the corresponding benefit. These hours are accrued and reset every season. Earned volunteer perks will be distributed by the Audience Services Manager and can be redeemed by reaching out to Jasmine at jasmine@theatre2.org or volunteer@theatre2.org.
