In School Tour FAQ

  • The tour is completely FREE! All performances and workshops are fully funded by Simmons Foods, the Windgate Foundation, and the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

  • We have three offerings you may select from:

    - A content-specific workshop related to the performance

    - An acting workshop

    - An improvisation workshop

  • Each workshop is created to last one period (approx. 50 minutes). That said, we can make adjustments to fit your needs.

  • Absolutely! We are able to facilitate up to two workshops concurrently or several back to back in a school day.

  • We recommend 25-40 students per workshop but can be flexible to your needs.

  • Yes! All teaching artists are trained to facilitate classroom spaces for students of all experience levels.

  • That’s okay! When you confirm your booking, we will ask you about the space you have reserved so we can plan accordingly.

  • Let us know as soon as you are able and we will work with you to schedule a virtual screening of the performance. If you booked a workshop, we will conduct live virtual workshops for your students.

  • We will work with you to reschedule your performance as best we can. You will not be charged for this cancellation.

  • All actors entering your school will be fully vaccinated, boosted, and will be tested twice a week. They will also be equipped with FDA approved masks to be worn at all times, and clear masks when performing.

  • We are requesting that schools provide a space that will socially distance actors from the audience. We also ask that teachers let us know as soon as they are able if an actor might have been exposed to Covid-19 during their visit.
