FINALIST FOR THE 2011 EDGAR AWARD
From TheatreSquared Artistic Director Robert Ford, and Sundown Town director Kevin Christopher Fox, a new mystery spanning two centuries. In this "haunting dreamscape of a play" (Theatre Montgomery), an escaped slave risks her freedom to confront Edgar Allan Poe in his final days. Centuries later, a celebrated architect on trial for a fatal fire finds clues to an undiscovered past in a lost manuscript of Poe's final work. The newest play by Robert Ford, premiered at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, reveals the desperate bargains we make for love.
"An intricate and fascinating work of art... you will hang on every word." – Becca Martin Brown, What's Up!Full review >
