T2 Professional Development Institute

July 1-3, 2024

Every summer, the T2PDI (TheatreSquared Professional Development Institute) provides a chance for theatre teachers across the state to participate in interactive workshops, collaborate in round-table discussions, create new lesson plans and share unique skill building techniques.  This event is catered specifically for middle/high school theatre teachers, and will confer up to 24 hours of Arkansas professional development units through an immersive series of workshops, led by professional artists and pedagogy experts.  The T2PDI is hosted in TheatreSquared’s beautiful state-of-the-art facility, with convenient housing nearby.  

Workshop sessions will include:

  • Applying drama-based teaching across the curriculum

  • Student safety & best practices for future productions

  • Acting

  • Directing

  • Program planning

  • Comprehensive round-table discussions

A limited number of scholarships are available for teachers with demonstrated financial need.
