A CHRISTMAS CAROL releases $10 Orchestra Tickets, with Support from Walmart Foundation
Thanks to sponsorship support from the Walmart Foundation, TheatreSquared has just released a limited quantity of $10 orchestra seats for community members for every performance of A Christmas Carol this season.
Fifty tickets are now available to each performance and may be reserved on a first come, first serve basis, online or by phone beginning immediately.
"We are profoundly grateful to the Walmart Foundation for their leadership support of the Lights Up! for Access program, which has helped us to bring tens of thousands of community members to the theatre who may otherwise have been unable to attend," said Executive Director Martin Miller. "It’s an incredible gift to make live, professional theatre more accessible to all—especially in the holiday season!"

Announcing the cast of "Designing Women"
The debut cast for the show includes actors from stage and screen. Broadway’s Carmen Cusack (Wicked, Bright Star, South Pacific), a Tony Award nominee, plays the indomitable Julia Sugarbaker. Amy Pietz (Caroline in the City, The Office) will portray Suzanne Sugarbaker. Actor and comedian Sarah Colonna (Shameless, Chelsea Lately) takes on the role of Mary Jo Shively, while Elaine Hendrix (Dynasty, Parent Trap) plays Charlene Frazier to round out the iconic quartet. Joining the Sugarbaker design firm is Cleo Bouvier—played by Carla Renata (Hart of Dixie, Avenue Q)—the cousin of Anthony who has taken over his stake in the business, and Haley McPhee—played by Kim Matula (The Bold &The Beautiful, LA to Vegas) who is just starting out as the new receptionist. Finally, the cast will also include newcomer Elizabeth Ofodile playing Cleo's daughter, Alfie.

Over 9,000 tickets have already been sold for this limited run. “We are thrilled by the turnout and the overwhelming positive response to Matilda. TheatreSquared presents Matilda the Musical at the Fayetteville Public Library. In-person performances begin June 23. This marks the start of a partnership between the professional theatre company and Fayetteville Public Library that opens ‘magical’ possibilities for the newly expanded facility.
