Staff Bio

Joe Binzer (General Manager of the Commons) has been working with TheatreSquared since 2017 and joined the Community Experience department in 2021 as the Assistant Audience Services Manager. He managed T2's volunteer program and even acted as the Interim Events Manager before stepping into his latest position at the Commons Bar & Cafe. He has worked closely with T2’s Education department as an actor and a teaching artist, assisting with T2’s Summer programs and camps like Shakespeare Academy, Jr. Shakespeare camp, and SummerStage. He has appeared in T2’s educational touring productions of The Math Show, The Shakespeare Show, and The Poe Show, as well as the traveling production of A Christmas Carol; TheatreSquared New Play Fest credits include Staging the Daffy Dame; he appeared in the Thanksgiving Play as a part of TheatreSquared's Sunday Night Series. Other credits include Hurry Up...And Wait! and Go Dog, Go! (Trike Theatre); As You Like It (Classical Edge Theatre); Ragtime, God of Carnage, and The People We’re Not (Savannah College of Art & Design). He holds a BA in Film, Television, & Theatre from the University of Notre Dame and an MFA in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
