This production is the culmination of the 2026 Musical Theatre Academy and was supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts through a 2026 "Shakespeare in American Communities: Apprenticeships" Grant from Arts Midwest.

With support from the TheatreSquared Education Department, Disney's Newsies Jr. is co-directed by T2 Artistic Apprentice Reece Edwards, and Scenic and Production Design is led by T2 Production Apprentice Haley Lewis.
